This research investigates the effectiveness of using Uncaria tomentosa leaves aqueous extract to
synthesize magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4NPs) and their impact on green peach aphid. The synthesis process
involved combining ferrous chloride, ferric chloride, and the U. tomentosa leaves aqueous extract. The
synthesized Fe3O4NPs were extensively characterized using various spectroscopic techniques. The findings
demonstrate that the Fe3O4NPs synthesized using U. tomentosa leaves aqueous extract and FeCl2 had an
average particle size of 20 nm and showed a better effect against green peach aphid compared to the reference.
